Alexander and the Gate of Dreams

This story grew with my life journey, nourished by my joys, sorrows, doubts, and affection for cherished beings and humanity.

Alexander appears first on stage, sad with his stuffed toy dog. He climbs into bed, calling for his father Paul to console him. The boy worries for his mother Elia, comatose after an accident. To comfort him, Paul reads him a book titled "Alexander and the Gate of Dreams".

The adventure begins starring Prune, a pure-hearted young woman on a quest for her beloved husband and their child, abducted by the sinister Goort. On her journey Prune encounters fascinating human and non-human characters, both benevolent and dangerous, who drive her to trust in infinite wisdom, shed illusions, face her fears and release deep shadows.

Just like Prune, this story will allow Paul, Alexander, and the reader, to grow their self-confidence and trust in life, enabling them to regain a sense of peace necessary for any achievement. 

It will teach them to connect with the invisible world to link with the Source and make all dreams possible. Through each character he encounters, Alexander will feel the strength and courage growing within him, allowing him to consciously navigate the challenges of existence. 

With the help of Will, a mischievous elf, and his father Paul, both Alexander and the reader will discover, through his questions and enthusiasm, how to draw from love and self-confidence to achieve what matters most in life and transform our world into a haven of peace, love, and joy.

Derrière les aventures, les mondes extraordinaires et les nombreux personnages d’Alexandre et la Porte des Songes se dessine progressivement une quête plus profonde.

Comment traverser nos peurs ?
Comment développer la confiance en soi et en la vie ?
Comment écouter notre intuition et cette petite voix qui nous parle parfois ?
Comment transformer les épreuves que nous rencontrons ?
Quelle place l’Amour peut-il prendre dans nos choix ?
Comment révéler le meilleur de nous-mêmes et trouver notre juste place auprès des autres et du monde du vivant ?
À travers les aventures qu’il découvre, Alexandre grandit, s’interroge et apprend progressivement à regarder autrement ce qu’il vit.
Mais le lecteur reste libre d’emprunter, lui aussi, sa propre Porte des Songes.
Car derrière chaque aventure peut se cacher une question.
Derrière chaque rencontre, un enseignement.
Et derrière chaque épreuve, peut-être une possibilité de transformation.

Au fil de son écriture, Alexandre et la Porte des Songes a progressivement donné naissance à tout un univers créatif.
Les personnages, les lieux et les moments forts de l’histoire ont inspiré plus de cinquante œuvres picturales et quelque soixante-dix compositions musicales.
Peinture, musique et écriture se sont ainsi progressivement rejointes autour d’une même œuvre.
Aujourd’hui, APS poursuit son développement à travers différentes formes d’expression : musique, art pictural, conte musical, pop-opéra, animation, serious game, conférences et expériences immersives.
Certaines sont déjà accessibles au public, tandis que d’autres poursuivent leur développement.
Une histoire. Plusieurs chemins. Un même univers.

Ouvrez le livre. Franchissez la Porte. Laissez commencer le voyage…
